The mounting ring screws into the large, coarse thread on the back of the IFW Filter Wheel or MAXfilter (both sold separately) and allows attachment of focusers, telecompressors, or other SCT accessories.The JMI MotoFocus Mounting Ring is for attachment of JMI's NGF-S motorized focuser. The #17462 JMI MotoFocus mount screws directly onto the back of the JMI NGF line of motorized focusers and presents the OPTEC-2300 dovetail for attachment of IFW and MaxFilter systems
