Whatever the user's hobby is, there definately is a model of PowerView binoculars available for that specific field. Bushnell has implemented porro-prism glass in some models and roof prism in others. Porro-prism glass is beneficial for mainly two reasons. One, the glass reflects the light twice internally so the correct orientation is seen through the scope as opposed to inverted. Second, porro-prism glass also provide a long folded distance between the objective lenses and the eyepieces.
- Fully-coated optics for a brighter image
- Non-slip rubber armor absorbs shock while providing a firm grip
- New Contemporary styling
The PowerView binoculars by Bushnell are equipped with a treasure of great features. These binoculars include coated, fully coated, multi-coated, or fully multi-coated depending on the model size. The more coatings there are on the glass, the brighter and sharper images are delivered with minimal eye strain. With a diopter adjustment included, these binoculars also balance eye vision variations for different individuals for a comfrotable but professional viewing experience!
The PowerView binoculars have a perfect exit pupil balance depending on the model. When light enters through the eyepiece, the light circle's diameter is refered to as the exit pupil. The larger the diamter, the brighter the image will show up. The formula to determine this is Objective lens diameter / power. An 8x32 model therefore will have an exit pupil of 4mm. However, eye relief is important as well as it determines how far the user can place the binoculars from his/her eyes and still receive a full field view. The longer the eye relief, the more comfortable the experience will be.
