The LS60/Ha is a complete Solar Telescope. The refractor based system
has a precision aligned singlet chromatic lens with a 60mm aperture.
The front singlet lens reduce half the stray light of an achromat,
fully eliminate the possibility for on axis coma, astigmatism,
decentering aberrations and provides with the matched collimation
lens set a full spherical corrected flat-field Solar-Telescope. The
focal length is 500mm providing a ~4.5 mm image through a 6mm
blocking filter. Fine adjustment is achieved with a Crayford style
focuser or feather touch focuser with 10:1 reduction standard. An
internal etalon with tune adjustment allows for a <0.8 Angstrom
bandpass. 

For crisp wide field observing and imaging, nothing can beat a true
triple-element apochromatic refractor (APO). This is especially true
in astrophotography, where APOs have produced some of the most
beautiful images of the heavens ever taken from earth. But not all
APOs are created equal. Today's market is filled with semi-APOs (with
two lenses instead of three) that don't bring all the colors to focus
in the refractor. Thanks to a two-year design process and a triple
objective lens made from the highest quality ED (extra-low
dispersion) glass, Meade Series 5000 ED APO Triplets are virtually
free of chromatic aberration (color fringing). This means they
outperform the most expensive semi-APOs at a fraction of the cost.
Expert observers will be delighted by the total absence of color
fringing and the scope's textbook-perfect pinpoint star images. Even
beginners will notice the breathtaking high contrast and resolution
of a Series 5000 APO. One astronomer commented that the Series 5000
APO "kicked butt on my semi-APO that cost twice as much." The scope
is available as a standalone OTA, or as a package with our new Series
5000 2" enhanced diagonal and an aluminum carrying case.

The CDK telescope is a brand new optical design invented by Dave
Rowe.  The goal of the design is to make an affordable astrographic
telescope with a large enough imaging plane to take advantage of the
large format CCD cameras of today.  Most telescope images degrade as
you move off-axis from either coma, off-axis astigmatism, or field
curvature.  The CDK design suffers from none of these problems.  The
CDK is coma free, has no off-axis astigmatism, and has a flat field. 
The design is a simple and elegant solution to the problems posed
above.  The CDK consists of three components:  an ellipsoidal primary
mirror, a spherical secondary mirror and a lens group.  All these
components are optimized to work in concert in order to create superb
pinpoint stars across the entire 42mm image plane.

The Sky 90 is the latest short tube fluorite apochomatic from
Takahashi.  With a focal ratio of f/5.56 and atube length of 13.8",
the Sky-90 is the most compact production apochomat. The newly
designed objective delivers very sharp color free images.

The TSA-10S2 is the first in the new TSA line of Takahashi triplet
apochromats. The color free images produced will delight the lunar,
planetary and deep sky observer with very high contract images with
pin point stars.
