William Optics now offers its top-end Alt-Az. mount, made in Switzerland by AOK, together with
its amazing ZenithStar 66 SD Apochromatic refractor, in a package that is hard to resist!!

IMPORTANT: The ZenithStar 66 SD is OTA only; we strongly recommend our 2” SCT Dielectric Diagonal
for best performance wth it. Specify if you prefer BLUE or ORANGE for the ZS66SD.

The mount head is entirely aluminum made, with a stylish sanded finish and laser engraving. The
knobs are stainless steel.
We called EAZY-Touch because it’s easy to set-up, and it is easy to use. Tracking stars even at
high-power has never been easier. The extremely high quality allows for smooth movements without
the need for any slow-motion controls. This very solid Alt-Az Mount is fitted with a Vixen bar
clamp on one side and can mount Losmandy-style plates on the other, allowing you to mount to
telescopes at one time. Mounting two telescopes should allow you to balance each other more
easily too. Two scopes, twice the fun: invite your family to observe with you, or use a larger
and a smaller scopes at the same time parallel-mounted.

The head weighs 3.5 kg and mounted on a quality tripod will offer all the stability you need
without compromising its portability and ease of use. The ”Teflon inside” guarantees that there
is no backlash and that your mount will peform oustandingly.

Do you want to add another telescope to your set-up”
Provided that you are using a GOOD quality tripod, you can mount up to 10 kg on either side
without any need for a counterweight. That means that a 4”-5” refractor for example, is easily
handled. For larger or heavier scopes, we recommend the installation of counterweights with a
counterweight bar and standard counterweights.
The head has a standard camera-tripod thread to fit on most tripods, but we strongly recommend
our wooden tripod. We also recommend considering our WO COMBO Plate and WO aluminum mounting
rings to mount your second telescope. The little ZenithStar 66, instead, will mount directly on
the Eazy Touch via its Vixen-compatible L-bracket.

If you unscrew the bottom silver pillar from the black ring connection, you will find it has a
3/8 for usage on stable photographic tripods.
The silver pillar base is threaded M10; this will work with most camera-tripods (metric threaded)
and for Vixen GP (SuperPolaris and Vixen type clones, Meade LXD75 etc.) compatible tripods.
