With your choice of 4.2, 6.2 or 8.1 Lbs. in extra counterweights, your Sphinx, GP2 or GPD2 mount
is open for many other possibilities.  Made of machined steel, these weights will fit anything
with a 3/4 inch (19mm) counterweight shaft.  The bore widens at the bottom to allow you to slip
approx ½ the weight over the safety retaining screw, maximizing the useful range while
maintaining maximum stability. Compatible with most all past production Vixen German Equatorial
mounts.
