If you're a Takahashi owner, you'll be interested in the Takahashi Extender-Q. It's touted as the #1 accessory for removing any
remaining false color from brighter objects - without degrading the image. The Extender-Q is a five element amplifier, one that
delivers the performance level of 1.6X magnification when used as a visual barlow.and doubles as a tele-extender made for
photographic/CCD use.

With the Takahashi Extender-Q - TEQ0001, Takahashi model FSQ-106 refractor will change from a f/5 to an f/8 system and the
Takahashi Sky 90 will have a focal ratio of f/8.9 instead of f/5.56. The Extender-Q screws into the focuser drawtube, and the
1.25" adapter moves onto the end of the Extender-Q. Internally threaded to accept filters, the Takahashi Extender-Q is made to
accept all standard 1.25" accessories, such as eyepieces, diagonals, etc. but can be upgraded to 2" by using the Takahashi 2"
Adapter (TEQ0002), adapter sold under our Accessories tab. The Takahashi Extender-Q - 1.6X Extender For Takahashi FSQ-106 does not
work with the New Q.
