Unlike competing products, POD is not a D.I.Y. project and is ready to
go right out of the box. With just a few basic hand tools, you can have
a fully functioning observatory up and operating within a short time of
POD arriving at your front door. How much is your time worth to you"
Don't forget to take your labor time into consideration when
determining total project cost.
If you plan on adding a few POD Bays later, consider doing so at the
time of your initial purchase instead. This way you will not only save
money on individual Bay purchases, but especially on Bay shipping
costs. If added at time of purchase Bays only cost an extra $50.00 each
to ship. Purchased later the shipping cost will be at least twice as
much.
POD Bays can be shipped 3 in a box, therefore you save a pile on
shipping 3 Bays at once compared to shipping one at a time. Shipping
one Bay later will cost almost as much as shipping three later. The
same applies for extra wall panels.
POD comes with a one year factory warranty.

Twice as bright as the standard Glow Panels
POD is the first observatory to offer a glow in
the dark option. Choose glow in two brightness
levels and colors. They are ION Green and Ultra ION
Green, and Neutron Blue and Ultra Neutron Blue.
Pictured on the left is a Neutron Blue Glow POD as
it would appear to dark adapted eyes. An Ultro Glow
POD would appear twice as bright.
We have specifically chosen a glow pigment that
fades quickly so that as your eyes become dark
adapted the POD glow fades. Astro photographers
who want maximum darkness should not choose the
glow option as the effect will last all night at
low level. |
