The enameled steel optical tube sports an upgraded 2” Crayford-style focuser that accepts both 2”
and 1.25” eyepieces. The tube moves effortlessly on Teflon/UHMW bearings for point-and-view

The XT10 Classic is loaded with outstanding features. The 10” (254mm-diameter) parabolic primary
mirror is made from BK-7 glass for superior image quality and is center-marked for easier
collimation. The aluminum mirror cell is a high-ventilation Orion design that facilitates
efficient mirror cool-down. It accepts an optional Cooling Accelerator Fan (#7816) for even
faster equilibration to ambient temperature. The upgraded 2” Crayford-style focuser accepts both
2” and 1.25” eyepieces. And only SkyQuest Dobs sport a navigation knob for easier slewing of the
telescope.
The XT10 is a paragon of solid construction. The enameled steel tube (black) rides on a
rock-sturdy base equipped with a carrying handle. The motion is fluid and easy on both axes,
aided by our innovative CorrecTension system, which ensures smooth manual tracking and critical
tube balance. Also standard with the XT10 are a two Sirius Plössl eyepieces, eyepiece rack, hard
dust cap, and quick collimation cap.
