An off-axis guider attaches to your telescope and your camera (with the proper T-ring attached), and with the help of an
illuminated reticle eyepiece, allows you to monitor the tracking of your telescope while taking astro-photos.
Corrections to slight tracking errors can be corrected via your telescope's hand controller.
A T-ring for your specific SLR camera and an illuminated reticle eyepiece are necessary to complete the guiding package.
