Celestron - 80mm Wide View Zoom Spotting Scope

A large 80mm (3.15") aperture multi-purpose spotting scope that's exceptional for bird watching, astronomy and use as a telephoto
lens, as well as all types of

terrestrial viewing. The superb fully multicoated optics offer high contrast levels and excellent resolution. The lens system
design contains an air-spaced doublet for superior performance.

Bird watchers will appreciate the high level of performance this scope attains in low light conditions. This, combined with a
near focus of just 13 feet, makes for an excellent optical instrument that ensures you won't miss any action, be it near or far
away..

For photographers, the fast optical system - 400mm f/5 - is a tremendous plus. Lightweight and easy to operate due to the fast,
smooth 1.25" rack and pinion focuser, this scope is a dream come true for those who want top performance in a powerful instrument.
Dual Tube Ring Mounting System for Extra Rigidity.

The large aperture allows you to enjoy viewing astronomical subjects such as the moon, planets, brighter nebulae and star
clusters. Although this spotting scope isn't a telescope, it will certainly increase your appreciation of the cycles of the moon,
eclipses, our solar system, comet watching and more. A built-in tripod adapter allows this scope to easily be mounted to a large
astronomical telescope. When joined with a telescope, the Wide View 80 Scope becomes a piggyback camera lens, imaging lens or
guidescope.
