field of view of 38 to 60 degrees, and an eye relief of 20mm. Like all

With its JIS Class 6 rated waterproof and fog proof construction, this
Zoom eyepiece is ideal for use with astronomical telescopes.

XF Series Eyepieces

The compact PENTAX XF series is ideal for planetary observations as well as general outdoor viewing. Each
eyepiece provides a 60-degree field of view and also features smc full-surface multi-layer lens coating for
improved light transmission and high-refraction, low-dispersion glass elements for high-resolution images
with minimal aberrations. These eyepieces may also be used with PENTAX PF-65ED and 65ED-A spotting scopes.

XW Series Eyepieces

PENTAX Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of the smc
PENTAX XW series of eyepieces designed for use with PENTAX-brand spotting
scopes and telescopes in ground and astronomical observations. Consisting
of eight models with a focal length ranging from 3.5mm to 40mm, the new XW
series features a wide apparent angle of view (70 degrees), JIS Class 4
weather-proof construction and a long eye relief (20mm). The new optics,
incorporating high-refraction, low-dispersion lanthanum glass elements and
PENTAX-original multi-layer coating, delivers bright, high-resolution
images with minimal aberrations and distortions.
