MotoFocus

MOTOFOCUS is an electric focus motor for precise, vibration-free focusing without the need to touch the
telescope. It is great for visual and photographic use and features variable speed for coarse and fine
adjustment. Precise positioning is accomplished through electronic braking.  Mounting is easy with no
drilling or tapping. Add the optional Digital Read Out (DRO), or Digital Focus Counter (DFC), for improved

NGC

Our popular computers allow you to easily guide to hundreds, thousands or even millions of objects in the
database without knowing where they are and without using a star chart. You don′t even need to level or
polar align your scope. You can spend more time observing and less time hunting for objects. These computers
are sometimes called digital setting circles because the early versions only displayed right ascension and
declination, thus replacing the telescopes mechanical setting circles. The Next Generation Computers (or MAX
computers as they are sometimes called) are not ″Go-To″ computers in that they do not move the
telescope for you. 

NGF

The Next Generation Focuser (NGF) is a low-profile, friction-drive focuser designed for both the amateur and
professional market. The highly acclaimed Crayford design permits tolerances up to 100 times better than
conventional rack-and-pinion focusers. Zero image shift and zero backlash makes it fantastic for visual and
photographic work and a must for CCD imaging. Add the optional variable-speed Motor and Smart Focus, Digital
Read Out (DRO), or Digital Focus Counter (DFC), for the ultimate focusing system. The NGF is truly a

The NGF-S and NGF-miniS are specifically designed for the Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope (SCT). SCTs achieve
focus by moving the mirror. This design tends to create image shift which is especially problematic for CCD
imaging. The NGF-S and NGF-miniS achieve focus by moving the eyepiece, camera or other equipment at the back
of the telescope instead of the mirror.

NGF3

A 3″ black-anodized (gold-anodized optional) aluminum ″Extreme″ focuser designed for use on
large (10″ to 16″) Cassegrain Telescopes (NGF-XTc) with standard output threads and Newtonian
Telescopes (NGF-XTn). The Cassegrain version includes an SCT threaded output adapter to allow use of standard
SCT equipment. The Newtonian version includes a removable 10″ radius curved base (or optional flat
base). The manual version of the NGF-XT lifts up to 12 pounds and the motorized version up to 18 pounds.
Manual ″Nano Drive″ control is approximately 13 times finer than most rack-and-pinion focusers.

RCF

The Reverse Crayford Focuser (RCF) is a light-weight, low-profile focuser with a new revolutionary design -
JMI′s low-cost, high-quality answer to plastic focusers. The reverse Crayford design gives zero image
