April Update
Monday, April 20th, 2009Wednesday Morning, April 22, the Lyrid meteor shower peaks between 1 and 4 am PLUS a waning, crescent moon will occult the planet Venus, from around 5:05am to around 6:00am (PDT).

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009The New Moon for April occurs on Friday, April 24, which will make the weekend of April 25-26 as a fantastic weekend for observing.
Remember, Mercury will reach it’s Greatest Western Elongation on Sunday, April 26, 2009 12:38 AM (PDT). Mercury will be 20°25′12″ from the Sun, for it’s Best Evening View from Earth on it’s current orbit.
